As an OEM supplier, DVC works with each
customer to develop a product which precisely fits the requirements.
This improves the cost efficiency, reliability and functionality of
the project as a whole.

Design Excellence
DVC Products are designed specifically for the
application. Compactness and power
efficiency are often among the goals, because the equipment
sometimes needs to be
installed in tight spots with little ventilation. Stability, product
lifetime, and time to market are also among DVC's strengths.

Product Support
All DVC Products carry a 12 month
return-to-factory warranty.
Extended warranty / Service agreements are available.

Operating Systems
DVC has been developing Windows CE application software, device
drivers and operating systems for deployment since 2001 and have
built considerable expertise in this field. In 2008, 8000 Digital
Signage units operate throughout North America with this software.
DVC has been using Windows XP Embedded since 2002 for Digital
Signage applications.
Real-time Linux development is also an area of expertise, with
systems shipped to Cable TV headends running ARM processors.

Production Quality and Testing
DVC circuit boards are
manufactured locally and all are tested in house prior to assembly,
and then undergo burn-in testing for 24 hours before pack and ship.

A Complete Solution
DVC products include hardware and software for deployment in a range
of applications. The PDU510 Websign Player includes a
custom single board computer running Windows XP Embedded, and the Websign Player application connects to the WebSign Server to
get schedules and content and reports status over the internet. This
is a complete solution for Digital Signage.

Designs in progress
A new media player using the Intel 'Atom'
design is under development at DVC. This processor configuration
will run on less than 5W of power, and will make an extremely
efficient, compact design. It will have HDMI video output and be
capable of HD Video playback. Options include Wi-Fi and cellular
network interfaces.
